Peter Harding Freight in Tamworth requires a class 1 driver for various contracts based out of Tamworth B77

We are a family owned haulage company and this job is an all year round permanent position with a view to securing this position long term and forming a relationship with our clients and to be an integral part of our team.

Although the work and position is operated out of Tamworth it's not imperative that you live near by as long as you are comfortable to commute. This is a general haulage position and you will be required to collect trailers from customers and deliver throughout the Midlands Monday - Friday, so a good understanding of the local and UK road networks is required. It is advantageous if you don't mind the odd night out as and when required.

You'll never be treated as someone that is just filling a seat. We need someone that is customer focused reliable and can think for themselves because on the odd occasion that things go wrong we may not be available straight away as we also drive during the week.

Overtime and an occasional Saturday is rarely required but when it is notice will be given and done so on a separate overtime rate.

This has been advertised as a PAYE position but we can also accept LTD drivers. If you're LTD then please apply and let us know your rates.
