We are seeking a professional and reliable HGV Driver with current Hiab Ticket to join our logistics team. Due to a new hiab lorry arriving with us before the end of the year, we are looking for the right candidate to take over the work the current hiab lorry is undertaking. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of cabins and welfare across various routes, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and experience in commercial transportation to contribute to a dynamic organisation. When not in the Hiab lorry, the successful candidate will be responsible to delivering and collecting towable welfare and other hire equipment via 4x4 or 3.5t flatbed.

Duties
Operate Rigid & Articulated lorries and other commercial vehicles to transport goods efficiently and safely.
Plan and follow optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Comply with all legal requirements, including hours of service regulations and safety standards.
Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
In date CPC's and Hiab Ticket (Must be Lorry Loader/Hook qualification)
Proven experience as a driving professional, preferably as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles.
Experience with Hiab lorries is essential.
Valid driving licence suitable for operating large vehicles (Category C+E or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial drivers.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively.
Good physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks when required.
A clean driving record and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening processes. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their driving skills and are committed to delivering exceptional service while maintaining safety standards at all times.
