An opportunity has become available for a Class 1 Low Loader Driver

Hours of Work: 6.30am to 5pm Monday - Friday

The Role

Transportation of various plant machinery to sites Candidate must be capable of Loading and Unloading plant machinery from the Step Frame trailer. This includes dozers, excavators and dumpers. Follow delivery routes and ensure timely and accurate deliveries Making sure deadlines are met Adhering to all traffic laws, regulations and company policies while on the road Ensure your vehicle is kept in a good, clean condition Comply with all health, safety, HR and Environmental policies and procedures Must be able to work on his or her own initiative, working within a team when required Occasional Class 2 Tipper Work to cover for Holiday and Sick

Requirements

HGV CE Class 1 - minimum 2 years Minimum 1 year Low Loader experience Full HGV CE licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements Digital Tacho and Drivers Qualification Cards Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive Excellent geographical knowledge Customer focussed attitude Attention to detail for accurate record keeping Eligible to work in the UK
Rates of pay are competitive and include a bonus scheme, subject to conditions.
