We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety and compliance. Experience with flatbed and commercial driving is highly desirable, along with a strong commitment to customer service and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to specified locations Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and optimise fuel usage Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in safe working condition Secure cargo properly on flatbeds to prevent damage during transit Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during transit Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies at all times

Requirements

Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or commercial vehicles Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving Ability to operate flatbed lorries safely and securely load/unload cargo as required Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively under tight schedules Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road Prior experience in delivery driver roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific vehicle types or routes if necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 127.70 per day
