Job Description
We are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Shunters to be part of the team at our Bedford site!
An HGV Class 1 License is required.
We are recruiting for the following:
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Start and Finish Time: 17:00 to 05:00
Pay Rates:
Monday to Friday = 17.91 Saturday to Sunday = 20.43
Some of the duties will be:
Working closely with Transport and DC to ensure trailer availability at time required for loading. Control of yard space and bays to ensure smooth and safe operating. Audit trail of trailer movements via the tracking sheets provided. Good communication with stakeholders generally via 2 Way radio. Liaising with stakeholders to fully understand trailer type requirements for next loading day. Monitoring and presentation of service/mot trailers
We are looking for candidates with:
Valid Class 1 licence, CPC and Tacho card
Experience shunting experience but not essential.
HGV experience required
