Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various routes while ensuring timely deliveries. A flexible approach to work is required as we have on occasions, night outs and twilight shifts to cover.

Duties

Operate vehicles from artics right down to vans, the role mostly require you to drive HGV Tramping for general haulage, flatbeds and curtains Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while adhering to safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring that all items are properly secured for transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Qualifications

Valid CPC Proven experience as HGV. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for driving heavy vehicles. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues. A commitment to maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and maintenance. Ideally experienced within pallet network environment and FTL experience
