Overview

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Class 1 Driver's to join our team for tramping, roles available from Ballymena, Birkenhead, Heysham and Birmingham Depots.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods across various locations. This role requires a reliable individual who can manage the demands of driving a lorry, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.

Duties

Operate a lorry to transport goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each delivery. Communicate effectively with planners regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Follow company policies regarding safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Skills

Proven experience as a Class 1 Driver, with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations. Familiarity with lorry operations is highly advantageous. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. A valid driving licence is essential, along with a clean driving record.
