We're currently hiring for

a full time Class 2 (Cat C) driver

, the role will include multi drop delivery of orders to our independent convenience store customers. You will be working as part of a key supportive team within the depot, where you will take ownership for loading your lorry in a morning and then ensuring the delivery of a customer's order while providing excellent customer service with a positive, problem-solving response to individual customer needs and always going that extra mile.

What will you be doing as a Class 2 (Cat C) Delivery Driver?

Multidrop delivery of customers' orders in cages and on pallets in an organised and timely fashion Loading your lorry according to your daily route while following all CPC regulations Dealing with Customer queries and payments upon delivery Taking responsibility for the zone and lorry that you work in; this includes ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained Supporting other departments as required

What do you need to be a Class 2 (Cat C) Delivery Driver?

You must have a good understanding of tachograph rules and regulations. Confident using tail lifts You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service Candidates must be CPC qualified and must not have more than 6 points on their license to be considered for the role. Excellent work ethic is required, as well as punctuality and reliability Initiative and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail and careful precision to meet targets

What's on offer?

Rate of pay per hour: 16.89 (basic) (+ 1 driver weighting allowance)*
Hours of work: 40 hours Monday - Friday: 07:00am - 16:00pm Company Paid and arranged CPC training Paid Medicals in line with licence requirements Supportive management and ongoing development
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 17.89 per hour
