HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver - Building Supplies

7.30am - 5.00pm Mon - Fri; 8.00am - 12.00 noon alternate Saturdays

Coomers, a highly successful family run independent builders merchant serving customers, from our branches, across Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex are looking to recruit an HGV Class 2 (Category C) Delivery Driver to join our busy Bordon branch!

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in making multi-drop deliveries within the building industry and of operating a lorry mounted crane as well as possessing excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

Making multi-drop deliveries to our customers using a HIAB lorry mounted crane and providing an efficient and dependable delivery service Ensuring your vehicle is roadworthy by carrying out daily vehicle checks Operating a forklift truck and picking customer orders Maintaining high standards, and ensuring a tidy and safe working environment

What we need from you:

Class 2 (category C) licence with full Driver CPC plus digital tachograph card Lorry mounted crane certificate (preferred) Forklift licence (preferred) Physically active as some manual handling is required Positive motivated attitude Committed to delivering a high-quality service Previous experience of the builders merchant industry / products would be a benefit
