Part of the Beauparc Group, B&M Waste is a leading waste management solutions provider based in Manchester (M17 1DW). We specialise in sustainable resource recovery and circular economy practices. We're currently seeking an experienced

HGV Class 2 Driver

to join our

Manchester team

and play a vital role in our environmental services operations.

The Role

Operating from our

Manchester depot

, you'll safely and efficiently collect and transport commercial/industrial waste using our modern HGV fleet. Enjoy consistent Monday-Friday shifts with a

45-minute paid break

and the option to earn extra via weekend overtime.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for waste collections. Plan efficient routes to maximise productivity and minimise environmental impact. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring sites are tidy and bins correctly positioned. Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects (DVSA compliant). Maintain accurate digital records via tablet for waste transfer documentation. Adhere to waste duty of care regulations, drivers' hours, and health/safety standards.

Essential Requirements

Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence + current Driver CPC. Digital tachograph card. Experience in waste sector operations (preferred). Strong knowledge of waste hierarchy and environmental compliance. Customer-focused communication skills. Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.

What We Offer

Competitive Pay:

14.47/hour +

overtime after 40 hours

at 18.09/hour.

8p per bin + daily service success bonus (up to 18).
