About us

Response Logistics are Manchester's premier distribution company for pallet collections and deliveries across UK and Ireland. Based in Ashton Under Lyne we are part of a network with over 90+ depots across the country to service customers collection and delivery requirements.

What you will be doing?

The successful candidate will be driving an 18 Tonne Curtain Sided Tail-Lift Vehicle, completing Multi-Drop Palletised Deliveries and Collections within SK and M postcodes. The start date is hopefully within the next 2 weeks so that training can be given to the successful candidte.

When you will be working?

Monday to Friday Optional Weekend work depending on customer requirements

Your responsibilities?

Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects Ensuring your load is secured safely Complete Deliveries in route order Complete Collections in route order Use of an Electric Powered Pump Truck Use of a hand-held signature capture mobile device ensuring signatures are obtained Speaking with delivery points and customers in a polite and professional manner. Work in accordance with Drivers Hours Regulations Follow company procedures to the best of your ability Follow Health and Safety Procedures and Regulations

Rate of pay?

Under 50 hours = 12.60 per hour Over 50 hours = 12.80 per hour Saturday = 17.18 per hour (minimum of 5 hours pay i.e. working 2 hours still pays 5 hours) Sunday = 22.90 per hour (minimum of 5 hours pay i.e. working 2 hours still pays 5 hours)
Rate of pay is reviewed every year.
