We are seeking a reliable and professional

Concrete Mixer Driver

(either

Volumetric

or

Drum

) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe delivery and on-site pouring of ready-mix or volumetric concrete to residential, commercial, and industrial sites. This role involves driving a heavy goods vehicle (HGV), operating the mixer, ensuring accurate delivery quantities, and maintaining the vehicle to high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a

Volumetric Mixer

or

Drum Mixer

concrete truck in compliance with UK traffic laws and company policies. Deliver concrete to various customer sites in a timely and professional manner. Mix and batch concrete accurately on-site (Volumetric Drivers only). Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness, both inside and out. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects. Assist with loading and unloading materials as required. Provide excellent customer service on-site and liaise with site managers or supervisors. Complete necessary delivery paperwork and electronic job logs. Ensure Health & Safety and environmental guidelines are followed at all times. Report delays, issues, or customer concerns to the transport or operations team.

Skills & Experience:

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C)

driving licence (essential). Valid

CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)

and

Digital Tachograph Card

(essential). Previous experience as a

concrete mixer driver

,

tipper

, or

HGV driver

preferred. Experience operating volumetric concrete mixers (desirable for volumetric roles). Good understanding of concrete types and slump requirements (training may be provided). Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting mixer issues (advantageous).

Pay: 120.00-160.00 per day
