Class 2 Driver - Carpet Delivery (Heavy Lifting

Fareham

14-16 per hour/

Day work

We are looking for an experienced

Class 2 (Category C) Driver

to join our team delivering carpets and flooring products to customers and businesses. This is a

hands-on, physically demanding role

that requires regular

heavy lifting and manual handling

of large rolls of carpet and flooring materials.

Ensuring that all goods are delivered safely, on time, and with excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a

Class 2 (Category C) vehicle

in compliance with UK driving regulations. Load, secure, and deliver carpets and flooring materials to customers across the south coast Carry out

heavy lifting and manual handling

of bulky items, sometimes in challenging environments (e.g., stairs or tight spaces). Complete all required paperwork, delivery notes, and vehicle checks. Provide a

professional, friendly, and helpful service

to customers at delivery points. Adhere to all

health & safety

and

CPC requirements

. Report any vehicle defects or delivery issues to management.

Requirements:

Valid

Class 2 (Category C) licence

. Valid

Driver CPC

and

Digital Tachograph Card

. Previous multi-drop or large goods delivery experience (carpet/flooring preferred but not essential). Good level of physical fitness - able to lift heavy items safely and repeatedly. Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach. Flexibility with working hours and routes.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 32 per week
