HGV Class II Fuel Delivery Driver (Re-deliveries)

We are looking for drivers to work 4 on / 4 off, shifts, including Saturday and Sunday work @ 24 per hour.

Basic 40 hour week/10 hour day, earliest start time 5am during the week.
Over-time paid at 1.5 times hourly rate after 40 hours.
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.

Working out of our Grays depot you will be responsible for delivering fuel to our customers in a timely and safe way.

Duties:

- Load and unload fuel.
- Record fuel deliveries.
- Plan routes and follow the schedule to ensure timely deliveries.
- Dealing with customers.
- Refuel and clean your vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Report and incidents immediately to your Router and the H&S Manager.
- Report vehicle issues to the workshop.
- Maintain accurate records of your activities and hours, ensuring adherence to working time and driver hours regulations.
- Communicate with Routers and team members to coordinate logistics.

Qualifications/Personal Qualities:

Essential:
- Drivers CPC Card.
- Class C License.
- ADR License - CORE, Tankers and Class 3 Flammable Liquids.
- Digi Card
Preferred:
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and endure long hours on the road.

Note: Experience with route driving/delivery driving is highly desirable.
