We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Multi Drop Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and have a keen understanding of road safety regulations. This position requires a valid Class 2 driving licence and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.

Duties

Operate a Class 2 vehicle for multi-drop deliveries, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods safely, utilising a tail-lift and pallet truck where necessary. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimising fuel consumption. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with maintenance standards.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly in multi-drop delivery environments. Familiarity with curtain sided operations is advantageous. Strong organisational skills to manage delivery schedules effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid Class 2 driving licence is essential. A good understanding of health and safety regulations related to driving and delivery operations.
