Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Driver to join our team.

Based in Beckton E6, you will work Monday to Friday with all bank holidays off.
Occasional Saturday mornings are available as overtime.

You will be delivering pallets in central London using a 12 or 18 ton curtainside tail lift vehicle. You must have previous experience of pallet network deliveries.
Electric pallet truck provided on all vehicles.

Excellent facilities at our site including kitchen with free tea/coffee.
Free car parking on site.
We provide you with uniform and PPE (excluding boots).

Candidates will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. As a driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with depot staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries. Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally at all times.

Experience

Previous experience as a Multidrop Driver within a pallet network is essential. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and clients.
