Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively while adhering to delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

Operate flatbed lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload cargo, securing it properly to prevent damage during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients professionally.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid HGV licence. Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations and loading/unloading procedures. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Pay: 20.00-30.00 per hour
