Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and multiskilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed lorries, tippers & brick grabs and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Duties

Operate flatbed lorries to deliver large plant & equipment safely and efficiently to designated locations. Operate tipper lorries Operate brick grab lorries Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Load and unload Plant & Equipment, ensuring proper securing of items for transport. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policies. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for flatbed & crane operation. Current valid CPC Current valid Tachograph Card HIAB Proven experience as a delivery/ tipper/ Hiab driver or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Pay: 15.00-19.00 per hour
