What you'll be doing

As a HGV Class 2 - CAT C, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe, timely, and professional delivery and collection of goods to and from our customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects. Ensuring goods are safely loaded and the vehicle is not overloaded. Verifying delivery notes and driver manifests. Using a PDA to log deliveries, non-deliveries, and vehicle checks. Complying with all road transport regulations and tachograph legislation. Delivering customer orders accurately and on time. Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle. Acting as a courteous and professional representative of the company. Reporting any delivery issues or customer feedback to the Logistics Department. Assisting with warehouse duties and vehicle loading/unloading when required. This is a varied role that requires flexibility, responsibility, and a strong focus on customer service and safety.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a reliable and professional driver who takes pride in their work and represents the company with integrity. The ideal candidate will have:

A valid HGV Class 2 - CAT C licence and DigiTacho card. CPC with up to date training. Strong knowledge of current Road Transport Regulations. Excellent communication skills and a courteous manner. A keen eye for detail and a focus on accuracy. The ability to work well as part of a team. A flexible and proactive approach to supporting wider operational needs.

What you will get in return

Working an average of 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Note: CDA use a 26 week WTD reference period)

We are located in an idyllic rural setting on the outskirts of Nottingham in Langar, so it is very likely that you will find any commute is going against the rush hour traffic!
