Class 2 Driver - Pallet Deliveries

We are seeking a reliable and professional

Class 2 (Category C) Driver

to join our team in

Portsmouth

. The role involves completing

palletised deliveries across the South Coast

, ensuring goods are transported safely and delivered on time.

As part of the role, you will be required to

load your own vehicle

before departing the depot, so a proactive and hands-on approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a

Class 2 (Category C) vehicle

safely and in line with UK driving regulations. Complete daily palletised deliveries and collections across the South Coast region. Load and secure pallets onto the vehicle before departure. Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and PODs. Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points. Report any delays, vehicle defects, or delivery issues promptly.

Requirements:

Valid

Class 2 (Category C) licence

. Valid

CPC qualification

and

Digital Tachograph Card

. Experience with

palletised deliveries

(preferred but not essential). Ability to

load and secure pallets

using manual handling equipment (e.g., pump truck, straps). Physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading as required. Good communication skills and a professional attitude. Flexibility with start times and delivery routes.
