We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver / Removals Operative to join our team.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in the successful completion of our removal services. You will be responsible for driving our HGV vehicles, ensuring the safe transportation of goods, and assisting with the loading and unloading of items. This position requires physical stamina, strength, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate Class 2 HGV vehicles to transport goods to and from various locations.

- Assist with the loading and unloading of items, ensuring all goods are handled with care.

- Securely pack items to prevent damage during transit.

- Navigate routes efficiently and ensure timely deliveries.

- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client needs and concerns professionally.

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle.

- Perform vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient moving process.

Requirements:

- Valid Class 2 (CAT C) HGV license.

- Driver CPC qualification and valid Digi Tacho card.

- Previous experience in removals or similar role is preferred but not essential.

- Strong physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items.

- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.

- Good communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Flexibility to work occasional overnight shifts and weekends.

- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50-20.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
