Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various routes. This role requires a valid commercial driving licence and experience in general haulage operations is highly desirable. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our cargo.

Responsibilities

Operate Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip & post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition at all times Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of materials for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations while on the road. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company positively at all times.

HGV Class 2 licence or (C+E) Minimum 12 months of proven driving experience Aged over 30 Up to date driver CPC & digital tachograph card Good UK geographical Knowledge No more than 6 penalty points on licence A CAN-DO attitude, Willingness to learn, and work as part of a team Moffett experience preferred but not essential, training can be given to the right candidate
