Davidsons Animal feeds is a family run business based in Shotts, North Lanarkshire, manufacturing and delivering over 200,000 tonnes of ruminant feeding through one of the most Modern manufacturing facilities in Europe and a modern fleet of over 30 vehicles delivering to valued customers across Scotland and the North of England.

We are recruiting class 2 HGV drivers, full and part time positions available for bulk blower farm deliveries.

The Role/ Key responsibilities:

Safe delivery of animal feed to multiple customers in line with feed safety regulations using the bulk blower or palletised deliveries Deliveries to be made in a friendly, professional manner. Compliance with all road traffic regulations and relevant legislation related to EU Drivers' Hours and the Working Time Directive. Undertake daily vehicle checks and defect reporting Be a valued member of our team in a fast-paced environment where we aim to deliver the best service possible.
Requirements:

Candidates must hold a full clean license. Driver CPC must be up to date with a digital tachograph present Good communication skills Hard working, motivated with a good sense of initiative Previous bulk blower experience preferred but full training will be given to the right individual.
Newly qualified drivers are welcomed. With the correct attitude and work ethic, comprehensive training will be given to the right candidate and a full time or part time permanent position will be available on completion of training.

Location - Based from Shotts, North Lanarkshire

Salary - Dependent on experience but very competitive

Schedule - Normal working week Monday - Friday, with 1 Saturday in 6 if required, with a day off through the week if Saturday worked.
