Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a

HGV Class 2 Tramper to join our

Preston team.

Duties:
- Safely operate a curtain sided truck to transport goods and materials
- Load security using internal and ratchet straps
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Plan routes and ensure on-time deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members effectively

Qualifications:
- Valid Cat C Licence, Tachograph card and CPC
- Experience as a HGV driver, preferably with experience with tachograph regulations and efficient driving
- Able work flexible hours
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High level of attention to detail and safety consciousness
