Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced and safety-conscious HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy environmental services operation in the HA0 area. This role involves refuse collection and waste management duties as part of a professional driver/loader team. You'll play a vital part in supporting local services while ensuring safe and timely operations.

Key Responsibilities

Drive a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on set routes Work alongside loaders in the collection of household or commercial waste Operate vehicle controls in a safe and compliant manner Perform daily vehicle checks and report any faults or issues Ensure adherence to health & safety, road safety, and customer service standards Represent the team and agency in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence Driver CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card Previous experience in waste collection or similar manual outdoor work is desirable Good communication and teamwork skills Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions Punctual, professional, and committed to safety and service

Additional Information

Minimum paid shift length: 7.5 hours per day Weekly pay Full PPE and safety induction provided before starting Weekly pay and responsive agency support Long-term opportunities available for reliable drivers

Pay: 17.65 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
