, your primary responsibility is to deliver building materials safely and promptly to our customers while providing excellent service. You will operate heavy goods vehicles, adhere to all driving and safety regulations, and ensure secure delivery of goods to floor level.

Hiab (lorry-mounted crane) experience
, but if you don't yet have your Hiab certification, we can provide full training.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver goods to customers with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.
Supervise and assist with loading to ensure products are safely secured.
Optimise loads for safe and efficient transport and unloading.
Check goods against customer orders and confirm with the loader.
Confirm estimated arrival times with customers prior to delivery.
Carry out deliveries with care, respecting customers' property and consulting the Branch Manager if in doubt.
Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures; report any discrepancies immediately.
Complete multi-drop deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
Carry out daily vehicle inspections and hand reports to the Branch Manager.
Support yard operations when required.
Perform other duties reasonably required by the Company.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Comply with tachograph laws, driver hours and Working Time regulations.
Operate the vehicle and crane (if certified) safely and correctly.
Follow fuel usage directives and keep the cab clean.
Minimise accidents and follow the company accident reporting procedure.
Attend mandatory training sessions.
Comply with company policies, including Dress Code, Standards of Performance, and Health & Safety.

Essential:
Category C / Class 2 license
Current CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
Current Digital Tachograph Card

Hiab (lorry-mounted crane) license
Experience with multi-drop deliveries
Experience using a Crane Remote
Vehicle safety checks and load security
