The Role:
An exciting opportunity to join a progressive and market leading company within the construction safety sector. The role is to deliver and collect essential equipment to a variety of clients across the country at a FORS gold standard, whilst maintaining the company's exceptional reputation for customer excellence.
This role includes the responsibility of safely using the HIAB crane attached to the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
The specific accountabilities of this flexible role may alter from time to time to meet the needs of the company, but accountabilities will include (or be equivalent in nature to) those listed below:
Goods Transportation
To liaise with operations department regarding the following day's journey including planning the route of delivery, allowing for any timed drops or other irregularities
To check that load items, security, all necessary equipment, paperwork and fuel cards are on board prior to leaving the depot for the day's journey
HIAB Operation
Safely and efficiently operate a HIAB crane to load and unload materials.
Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure the crane is in proper working condition.
Conduct routine maintenance on the HIAB crane, such as lubrication and checking for wear and tear.
Keep the crane and vehicle clean and in good working order.
Vehicle Management
To perform and record daily vehicle safety checks before departure
To unload goods at the customer's premises safely, efficiently, in first class condition, in a safe and professional manner
To complete all company required documentation
To follow driving rules and regulations within the Working Time Directive (WTD)
Health & Safety
To be aware of the legal load capacity of the vehicle to be driven
To be aware of and follow company procedure for vehicle breakdowns
Report to management all vehicle defects and maintenance requirements as soon as possible and drivers daily check sheet
To Keep your allocated vehicle clean and in good working order
To assist with warehouse duties as required
Role Demand
The role may require some nights away from home (expenses paid)

Some overtime may be available if required for business needs

Comprehensive level of
Class 1 or Class 2 driving experience
Sound
