Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 2 Moffett/Manitou driver to join our team in . The successful candidate will be responsible for operating flatbed lorries equipped with Moffett or Manitou forklift attachments, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods. This role requires a professional approach to driving and logistics, with a focus on safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service.

Duties

Safely operate HGV Class 2 flatbed lorries with Moffett or Manitou forklift attachments for delivery and collection tasks. Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, including flatbeds and forklifts, ensuring secure transportation. Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly to maintain compliance with safety standards. Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules whilst adhering to legal driving hours and regulations. Assist with the organisation of deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company policies. Maintain a professional attitude when liaising with clients and colleagues during all stages of the delivery process.

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 licence with relevant experience in commercial driving. Proven experience operating flatbed vehicles with Moffett or Manitou forklift attachments. Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating reliability and punctuality. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to commercial vehicle operation. Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading goods safely and efficiently. Good organisational skills, with the ability to plan routes and manage time effectively. Pay - 16pph Guaranteed 45hr week & 40.00 per Moffett job paid weekly.
