Job Summary

At S Morris, due to internal promotions we are now looking for enthusiastic hard hard-working Class 2 HGV driver to join our team working from our Amesbury Plant. The vacancy is for a Ready-Mix Driver/Yard Support position, you will be required to undertake other duties at times so flexibility in the role is essential, and you must possess the ability to work on your own to deliver concrete to building sites in the local area.

The Role

We're looking for a professional and motivated

HGV Class 2 Driver

to join our ready-mix concrete delivery team. You'll be responsible for safely operating a mixer truck, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our customers, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver ready-mixed concrete to construction sites and customers safely and efficiently Perform daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance Complete delivery documentation accurately Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and equipment Uphold company safety and environmental standards at all times

Requirements

Valid

HGV Class 2 (Category C)

licence

Driver CPC

and

Digital Tachograph Card

Previous experience in ready-mix concrete or construction delivery preferred (training can be provided) Strong customer service and communication skills Good timekeeping and reliability
