Due to the continued growth of our business, Igloo Thermo Logistics is looking for an

HGV Class C Evening/Night Driver

to carry out store deliveries to Starbucks stores each night, working a shift pattern of

4 days over 7.

We are a national temperature controlled distribution company operating across three depots in the UK. We have depots in Leeds, Luton and Taunton and we are recently celebrated our 20th Anniversary.

What you will be doing

Safely operate up to a 26 tonne HGV transporting chilled and ambient goods to various Starbucks locations. Averaging between 8-12 drops per shift. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload items from cages, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Handball work will be involved. Maintain communication with Transport staff and customers regarding delivery status. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Keep accurate records of deliveries and maintain a clean driving log.

What we are looking for

Valid

Class 2 (Category C)

HGV license-

Essential

CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and valid digital tachograph card

Essential

Strong knowledge of UK road networks and road safety laws-

Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency. -

Minimum of 18 months of recent, Category C multi-drop experience -

We will accept up to 6 points on your license, but no DD, DG, TT, DR, CD, IN, CU endorsements. Flexibility to work on a 4 over 7 shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays. -

Working Monday to Sunday on a shift pattern based on a 7 week rolling rota. Guaranteed 46.5 hours per week on salary. Full training will be provided along with a uniform
Starting salary pay will be 40,624.58 per annum.
