Job Summary

We're looking for a Monday to Friday HGV class one driver to do mostly shipping containers on nights. We can accommodate a Monday to Friday driver or two part time drivers looking to do a few shifts a week. We're a small haulage company ran by drivers. We're looking for reliable, trustworthy and self motivated team members to come and join us. We've built a great team so far and looking to continue to hire such great people as well. Duties

Operate a flatbed lorry to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for operating a flatbed lorry. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines. Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Physical stamina and strength to handle loading and unloading of cargo as required.
