Ensuring deliveries and collections of our materials are carried out in a safe and timely manner whilst adhering to traffic laws, regulations and complying with the company's health & safety and quality procedures. Offering a professional approach to all warehouse requirements as well as face-to-face dealings, ensuring customer relationships are developed and customer service excellence is maintained in line with company goals and values. Delivering and collecting materials, maintaining safe driving practices and acting in a responsible and considerate manner at all times.
Loading and securing vehicles according to load best practices and route manifest.
Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections and completing defect records.
Maintaining fuel levels and vehicle cleanliness in-line with company procedures.
Matching delivery notes to manifest listing, completing material checks and ensuring all items are present, recording any discrepancies.
Ensuring delivery notes, RMA's, Internal Transfers and other documentation are signed and submitted correctly.
Providing warehouse support, ensuring quality and accuracy is maintained.
Reporting any incidents (problems, near misses or accidents) in-line with company procedures.
Ensuring all training courses provided by the company are completed within the timeframe requested and own knowledge is developed to a full understanding of the Oadby product range.
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 3.30pm
What experience do you need to have:
Essential: Hold a HGV2 (Category C) in-date license, CPC and valid tachograph card
Previous HGV driving experience
DesirableMulti-drop experience preferred
Hold a valid up-to-date counterbalance forklift licence
Previous experience in a warehouse environment
Possess an understanding of plastic products or an ability and willingness to learn
