Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver ADR advantage to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating curtainsided ferry trailers to deliver goods across various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills, particularly in commercial driving environments. The ideal applicant will have previous delivery driver experience and a good understanding of road regulations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our company's efficient transportation operations while ensuring customer satisfaction. Excellent rates of pay with bonus and overtime.

Responsibilities

Safely operate curtain lorries for the transportation of goods to designated destinations. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with legal standards. Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secured properly for transit. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during transit. Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies during operations. Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to ensure continuous safe operation.

Requirements

Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with flatbed lorries or similar vehicles. Valid driving licence suitable for operating large vehicles (category C+E ). Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, with a focus on safe handling of cargo and customer service. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws within the UK. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Ability to plan routes efficiently and manage time effectively. Good organisational skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping. Physically capable of loading, unloading, and securing cargo as required. Commitment to safety standards and company policies at all times.
