Job Summary

Due to continued growth we are looking to employ various HGV drivers

Class 1 & 2 Days and Trampers

Class 1 & 2 Trampers and Pallet Network

7.5t Day drivers on Pallet Network deliveries

We are also interested in new pass who are happy to start on smaller vehicles and work up.

Also available is holiday cover who may only want to work odd days or nights, regular weekend positions are also available.

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid (CE) Licence and Tacho card Up to date CPC Good understanding of UK geography Eligibility to work in the UK Two years driving experience would be preferred. However, we will consider all applicants on a case by case basis. Carry out varying deliveries throughout the UK, generally full loads but occasionally 2-3 drops, there will be a mixture of distances. Adhering to all safe systems of work in line with Company policies and procedures and Health and Safety Legislation Help with loading and unloading where required during deliveries at our customers' premises and in the yard Effective management of your driving hours ensuring compliance with Working Time Directives Goods are delivered safely and securely Your vehicle is kept in good condition

HGV Class 2 & 7.5T Driver Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid (C) Licence and Tacho card Up to date CPC Responsible for the safe delivery and collection of palletised goods to a variety of customers from our depot in Dewsbury Loading and unloading the vehicle using a tail lift with pallet truck goods are delivered safely and securely Completing delivery paperwork Confirming deliveries via electronic device Adhering to all safe systems of work in line with Company policies and procedures and Health and Safety Legislation Effective management of your driving hours ensuring compliance with Working Time Directives Your vehicle is kept in good condition A positive attitude with the ability to work well under pressure and a 'can do' approach to all tasks. Ability to work collaboratively with others and take instruction/direction from operations managers Good levels of physical fitness, to be able to ratchet and strap loads and assist customers' with offloading if required. Willingness to be flexible on start/finish times to fulfil the needs of our Customers and the Business. Average salary of Full Time Class 1 tramper is between 40,000 - 42,500 excluding night out bonuses. Average salary of Full Time Class 2 tramper is between 34,000 - 40,000 excluding night out bonuses.
