Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with skelly trailer container vehicles, and will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently. This role requires a commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

Operate lorries to transport goods to various locations. Ensure timely delivery of products while following designated routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company positively.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience as a delivery driver, particularly with skelly and container vehicles, is preferred. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Flexibility to work varying hours as needed, including weekends or holidays if required.
