Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, particularly with refigerate vehicles. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Duties

Operate lorries to transport goods to various locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo safely, securing it properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during transportation.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role is essential. Familiarity with refrigerate trailers operations is highly desirable. A valid commercial driving licence is required. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and clients effectively. Requirements:

Hold a valid commercial Driving License with the Correct Categories C+E Have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card Pass a background check (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law Pass a standard drug and alcohol test (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law Be able to speak & read English satisfactorily Have a maximum of 6 penalty points in the Driver's License (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements) Approved drivers consist of drivers with BGC results as "Meets Requirements" and drug and alcohol tests with negative results
