Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV C+E Drivers to work either on days or nights to join our team. Work offers various starts either doing day work or night work both shift rotas are available to suit you and it is long term temporary but ongoing full time work and this work is all year round not just in peak season so you even have work in January February quieter season. The ideal candidate will possess a C+E licence for a minimum of 12 months and drive HGV C+E on a semi and long distance basis all work averages 1 to 2 drops per shift going to the ports/docks with curtain side trailers and no hand ball is involved. This role requires a commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service as you transport goods efficiently and effectively.
Duties
Operate Curtain trailer vehicles to make trailer swaps at various locations on a drop and swap basis on both a semi and long distance basis to ports and docks in the north and south.
Experience
Proven experience as a Driver, A valid driving licence C+E must be held for a minimum of 12 months A maximum of 6 points on licence for insurance cover Valid Digital Tacho card Valid CPC Card
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: 20.00-21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week
