Duties

Operate a Curtain side artic lorry to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, promoting safety on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns professionally.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed lorries. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and securing loads properly. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on the road.

Pay: 11.44-24.47 per hour
