Job Description
Bumble Hole Foods make superior quality egg products for the UK food manufacturing industry. We source the very best eggs and deliver products that taste great and perform constantly well.
Due to our continued expansion we are looking for a Class 2 HGV driver to deliver egg products to our customers nationwide and collect shell egg on the return. Hours of work are a 50 per week and start times will range from 2am - 6am, depending on the customers requirements. . You must also be prepared to drive 7.5 ton lorries and van if needed.
There is also a physical requirement as you will be loading and unloading pallecon containers and pallets of eggs.
Prior experience of working in food manufacturing/chilled foods desirable as our vehicles are temperature controlled and GPS tracked.
You must be professional and have excellent customer service skills as you are a representative of Bumble Hole Foods.
Responsibilities
Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Deliver goods to various locations, providing excellent customer service at each stop. Load and unload securing items properly to prevent damage during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness. Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate any issues or delays promptly.
