Overview
We currently have an opportunity for a Class C+E tipper driver to join our bulk tipper operation based in Strathaven, South Lanarkshire. The role includes delivery of bulk aggregate and animal feed loads. Nights out available (overnight subsistence allowance 35 per night). Experience and good geographical knowledge is preferred however training can be provided to a candidate who demonstrates the required qualities.

Onsite car parking available in secure yard.

Responsibilities
Carry out and document daily predrive and wheel security checks. Notify traffic office promptly of defects.
Comply with the relevant transport legislation including vehicle safety, drivers hours and working time regulations, health & safety and the highway code
Keep vehicles and trailers clean inside and out
Complete all required in-house and customer training and seven hours annual CPC course
Complete all required paperwork in a full and accurate manner.

Sweeping out trailer in between loads where required to avoid product contamination

Skills
Clean driving licence with C+E entitlement

Valid Driver Card

Valid Driver Qualification Card (with required CPC having been completed to date)

Good time-keeping, resilient, self motivated, organised and adaptable to changing schedules and customer requirements

Good communication skills and

Completed the MPQC Site Awareness and Behaviour Course to achieve the MP Connect Card required for entry to quarry sites (a course can be organised but needs to be completed before starting)

12 months tipper experience in similar work preferred.
