The Role: HGV Class 2 / Delivery Driver

Join Supreme as a Warehouse HGV class 2/delivery driver and be part of a fast-paced, dynamic team at one of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors of fast-moving consumer goods. Based at our state-of-the-art warehouse, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products are efficiently packed and dispatched to local customers across the Greater Manchester area. Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Role and Responsibilities:

Local customer van deliveries.

1.

To assisting of preparation of local customer sales orders, wrapping pallets, boxing of smaller orders for dispatch.

2.

Loading of delivery vehicles (using FLT counterbalance) in sequence for your planned delivery routes to local customers.

3.

To deliver orders to customers in a prompt preplanned time scale.

Multi-site HGV class 2 shunts.

1.

Liaise with stock control management, with regards to production/finish goods transfers.

2.

Loading/unloading of full pallet products on/off HGV class 2 vehicle, using both power pump truck (PPT) and counterbalance (FLT)

3.

Maintain an efficient transfer of production materials and finished goods between our two sites within the Trafford Park area.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

HGV class 2 license, full UK drivers license.

Skills and Qualifications:

Counterbalance (FLT) Powered pump truck (PPT) - License preferred, although training can be provided.
