Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Grab Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with Grab/ Hiab vehicles, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Responsibilities

Operate Grab lorries in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring that all items are properly secured for transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations during transportation.

Requirements

Valid UK driving licence with a category C or CE endorsement for commercial driving. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with Grab/Hiab lorries. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Good communication skills for interaction with clients and team members. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy items when necessary. A commitment to maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.
