Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Evans Transport Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Your contributions will be vital to our mission of delivering exceptional logistics services.

Responsibilities

Conducting thorough HGV and Trailer inspections and ensure compliance with MOT standards Performing defect and damage repairs to a high standard . Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and meet legal requirements. Working collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient fleet management.

Requirements

A proven background in HGV and trailer maintenance and repairs. Experience with MOT preparation and inspections. Diagnostic knowledge with the ability to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults. Qualifications of NVQ Level 3 or higher in vehicle maintenance or equivalent. A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of the role. A strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
