McDougall Commercials is a well-established, reputable company specialising in commercial vehicle maintenance. We are committed to delivering high-quality service and reliability to our valued customers. We are looking to expand our team with a skilled and motivated HGV Mechanic.

Key Responsibilities:

??Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a range of commercial vehicles. ??Diagnose mechanical & electrical faults using diagnostic equipment. ??Complete MOT preparations and safety inspections to industry standards. ??Conduct breakdown repairs, including occasional roadside assistance. ??Accurately complete all job cards, reports, and paperwork. ??Work independently & as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:

??Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician. ??Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent preferred). ??Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. ??HGV Class 1 or 2 licence beneficial but not essential. ??Flexibility for occasional call-outs or overtime. ??Commitment to health & safety and high-quality workmanship.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 40,000.00-54,000.00 per year
