Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roll Off Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of roll-off containers to various job sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage logistics effectively.

Responsibilities

Operate a roll-off lorry in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload roll-off containers at designated locations, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any issues encountered during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any changes that may arise. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients at job sites. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while on the road and at job sites.

Experience

Previous experience driving roll-off vehicles is highly desirable. A valid Class 2 driving licence is required, along with a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of local roads and routes is an advantage. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this role. Must have own transport to be able to get to our Yard on Shortthorn Road where you will collect your Lorry. Our Waste Recycling Centre is based on Reepham Road, Horsford which is where you will report to once you have collected your Lorry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
