Job Description

We are currently looking to welcome a dependable and experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter to join our established logistics team at our Sheffield, S35 site based in the Chapeltown area. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record operating articulated vehicles within a shunter role and have a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and providing excellence. This is a full-time, permanent position within our Logistics fleet, offering a Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm shift schedule. The role pays 14.62 per hour, with weekly pay every Friday--perfect timing ahead of the weekend.

What will you be doing as our HGV Class 1 Shunter:

To move trailers on and off the loading bays with a twenty minute turnaround To park, empty and fill trailers in the yard Be confident in driving a shunting tug Assist in the loading of the trailers, including counts

What we need from our HGV Class 1 Shunter:

Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) license, with a minimum of 2 years of experience Experience on a TUG /Shunting unit Up-to-date CPC and Tacho card A strong safety record and professional attitude For insurance purposes, your licence must show: no more than 6 penalty points and no unspent endorsements other than speeding A team player who's dependable and customer-focused
