We are seeking a skilled and reliable Skip Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting Skips safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service

Duties

Operate a lorry in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery records. Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and conduct while on the road.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid HGV licence. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving. Ability to operate Skip Lorries Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
