Active Pump Services Limited is a leading clean and wastewater engineering, pump and drainage business that is successfully expanding and winning more exciting and meaningful new business work.
We provide services throughout South East England, London, and, more recently, the South West Home Counties. Our offerings include solutions for clean and wastewater, drainage and CCTV, pumping, transportation, treatment plants and pump stations, and infrastructure asset management, serving commercial, municipal, industrial, and domestic sectors.
We are now looking to employ 2 full time skilled and experienced Vacuum Tanker HGV Drivers to join our growing Team.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will hold an LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) Category C Driving Licence, with experience of the operation of a vacuum and combination tanker and jetter.
Role holders must keep vehicles clean, roadworthy, well-maintained, operate tankers professionally.
Driving regular local routes, responsible for working independently, safely collecting and delivering clean, wastewater goods including sewage, often working alone for planned and reactive tasks.
Candidates should be team-oriented, responsible, customer-focused, able to assess risks, and ensure proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
They will need to put the health and safety and mental wellbeing first of everyone in whatever task they are doing including ie working in confined spaces (training provided) and ensuring all work aligns with RAMS, health and safety and regulatory standards.
Candidates must be innovative, solutions-oriented, computer literate, able to use ServiceM8, send emails, log information into our fleet tracking, compliance, and tablet systems.
They must be highly organized and able to plan tasks efficiently and effectively in a rapidly changing business environment.
Additional Information
You need strong manual dexterity with hand tools.
You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.
You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
All candidates must have:
Previous LGV C experience required
Previous Tanker driving/ clean and wastewater experience
Less than 6 points on license and no accidents in the last 3 years
Full CPC card
CSCS card/ Water Jetting
Association qualification
Exceptional customer service skills
A proactive attitude and positive 'go getting' attitude.
Standard Working Hours:
Willingness to work 48 hours per week
Flexibility for optional overtime at weekends.
Must be available to work weekends as part of a call-out rota team.

Salary: 36,192 up to 39,812 +OTE per year (based on experience and skillset)
