Monday to Friday - 06:00 to 15:30 / 08:30 to 18:00 (rotating weekly)

We're currently looking for an experienced

HGV Technician

to join the team in Bedford. This is a full-time, permanent position based in a busy Vehicle Maintenance Unit, focused on trailer servicing, repairs, and inspections.

As an

HGV Technician

, your role will involve working on a range of trailer types, ensuring all vehicles are maintained to a high standard and meet safety regulations.

Key responsibilities as an HGV Technician:

Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on trailers Diagnosing and fixing faults quickly and efficiently Performing trailer inspections and completing necessary defect repairs Ensuring all work meets current health and safety standards Keeping up to date with technical and compliance knowledge

What we're looking for in an HGV Technician:

Proven experience as an

HGV Technician

or

Trailer Mechanic

Strong knowledge of trailer maintenance and workshop safety procedures NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field preferred - time-served experience also considered A reliable and proactive approach to work
