HGV Technician | Covering Hampshire | c27.00 per hour + Ovetime + Benefits + Van

Due to sustained growth, I am looking to recruit an experienced and qualified or certified HGV Technician, with experience of also working on plant machinery to join busy and well run HGV and plant machinery company.

The area to be covered is the Hampshire / Sussex and parts of Surrey, which is a well managed area, that offers lots to expand upon.

The company is established, is proactive, and has a wide area customer base that is well maintained.

Job Requirements;

Previous proven experience, and stable employment in a HGV / Plant Machinery post, e.g. worked on HGV units, tailer, plant machinery, etc, etc Be qualified or hold certification for Mechanics A professionally recognised qualification in plant maintenance and repair Excellent communication & organisational skills A good working knowledge of petrol, diesel, hydraulic and electrical systems

Duties;

Carry out scheduled service maintenance and repairs on-site and at the depot Carry out fault-finding and diagnosis on all types of machinery, including from time to time, farm machinery Complete pre-delivery inspections Attend manufacturers' training courses Complete job stories and hours using iPhone Utilise laptop diagnostics and service systems Work alongside and communicate with customers, colleagues, manufacturers, and suppliers Repair & locate faults with equipment in line with manufacturer recommendations and in a timely fashion to ensure minimum downtime Service equipment in line with manufacturers' recommendations Some workload will be carried out at Workshop
